The TGV has speeded up train travel in france and Toulouse is about 51/2
hours from Paris. From Toulouse there is a local service south which will
take you to Pamiers or Foix

network is easily reached from Pechine . The trip from Le Havre has been
done in 8 hrs but we would recommend an overnight stop. Our friends Nigel
