Terms and Conditions

To confirm your booking please return a copy of the booking form duly signed with a deposit of 30% of the total fee. This fee can be paid in euros by  cash, cheque or by  PAYPAL  (but you will have to add the paypal fee)

Your signature on the booking form and our acceptance in writing constitutes a contract under the jurisdiction of the French courts.

The balance will be due eight weeks prior to the commencement of the holiday. If payment is not received by this time then we reserve the right to re-let the gite booked.

Reservations made within six weeks of the start date will require payment in full. Cancellation at anytime must be in writing.

If notice is received more than twelve weeks prior to the booking then the deposit will be returned with a deduction of 20% of the total cost to cover administration charges. Less than twelve weeks but more than six weeks then no refund of the total deposit will be made.

If the booking is cancelled within six weeks then no refund will be made and the full cost of the holiday will be charged. We strongly recommend that you take out a holiday insurance policy to protect yourselves.

A deposit of 100 euros is required on arrival to cover damages.

This will be returned to you within 21 days of the end of your holiday provided that the gite is left in satisfactory order.

We ask you to leave the gite as you found it. Please notify us on arrival of any discrepancies or within 24 hours of any problems so that they can be dealt with as soon as possible.

The gite will be ready at 4pm on the day of arrival and you are required to leave by 10am on the day of departure.

If for any reason the gite becomes damaged or un-lettable then we will notify you immediately returning in full all monies paid. We cannot take responsibility for any other costs incurred.

The use of accommodation, equipment and any other facilities are done so entirely at your own risk. We cannot take any responsible for injury, loss or damage to belongings (including vehicles) what so ever.

For all children under the age of 16 years, an adult must supervise swimming and other activities.

Rental charges are based on the maximum number of 4 persons as detailed unless by special arrangement with the owners.

Use of all facilities are strictly limited to guests staying at Pechine only. The owners reserve the right to request guests to leave the property should any other persons associated with the guests be found on the property.
